About Accessibility App BM Smart Terminal　This software is a user assistance application that connects the Braille display BM smart to android smartphones and tablets to support the operation of Android terminals.　By using the Braille display and text editing function of BM smart, you can comfortably operate various apps on Android devices. Of course, it can also be used with an Android terminal alone, and it features the convenience of being able to freely connect/disconnect with the BM smart when needed. Come and experience the convenience of Android with your finger.This software is roughly divided into the following two functions: "dedicated application function" and "braille operation support function".(Dedicated application function)　A dedicated app makes it easy to use basic functions such as telephone and email.When using a single Android device, you can easily perform character input and Japanese conversion, which are particularly difficult for voice users, by utilizing the voice recognition function.Also, when BM Smart is connected via Bluetooth, the same application functions can be used by operating BM Smart.(The WEB browser function can be used only when connected to Bluetooth).(Braille operation support function)　While operating a general application, you can check the contents read by the screen reader and the position on the screen with the Braille display of BM smart.Also, for text input, you can batch transfer the text created with the text editing function of BM Smart to your Android device.Necessary accessibility services and virtual keyboards are built into this software. Follow the instructions in the manual to register with the system.Note that this app uses Bluetooth connection, so it cannot be used with BrailleBack, which is the braille display function of the screen reader.〔Operating environment〕Please use this software on Android devices that meet the following requirements.-A model that requires Bluetooth SPP connection (Bluetooth Classic SerialPortProfile) (required).・Android version 6 or higher (required).-A model that requires a screen reader (Accessibility Suite, TalkBack, etc.) (required).*This application assumes an environment where accessibility gestures from Google can be used.・A model capable of Japanese voice output and voice recognition (required).・Models that can add user assistance services (recommended).-A model (recommended) to which a virtual keyboard (soft keyboard) can be added.· Models that can use the [User Assistance] button (recommended)〔Functional overview〕The following functions can be used with this software.(Dedicated application function)　Except for some functions, it can be used by connecting to an Android terminal alone or BM smart.(1) Make a phone call.(2) Send and receive Internet mail.(3) Edit the contact information of the terminal.(4) Browse the Internet with a web browser (only when using BM smart connection).(5) Record from the microphone.(6) Record a simple memo by voice recognition.(Braille operation support function)-Use by connecting with BM smart.(6) The screen of the general application is displayed in braille (using the user assistance service).(7) Text editing of general application (using virtual keyboard).(Other features)-Use by connecting with BM smart.(8) Transfer text data on the clipboard to and from BM Smart.(9) Input text to BM smart by voice recognition.
